Magpies Defender Makes Switch To Vale Park

The son of former Wolverhampton Wanderers centre back Floyd Streete, the youngster was the first ever winner of the Jack Hixon Award at St James’ Park in 2010.
The defender will wear the No. 26 shirt during his time with the club and is eligible to play against Yeovil Town on Saturday.
Vale interim boss Rob Page said of the new signing: “Myself and the chairman watched him against Arsenal and obviously he has been in and amongst Newcastle’s first team.
“They think a lot of him there, we were impressed with what we saw at the game and we feel that if we can get players of his ability and quality in and amongst the lads then it can only benefit the boys we’ve already got here.”
