Port Vale Foundation uses the power of Port Vale Football Club to improve lives and communities.

We work across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire supporting people in a range of different ways. We have five core areas that we support which are:

  • Children and Families
  • Schools
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Education and Learning
  • Community Engagement and Inclusion

We believe that by using the power of the club, we can help people to enhance their lives and the communities in which they live through a range of interventions.

We are an award winning charity, recognised both locally and nationally for the impact we have here in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. In 2021 we were awarded EFL Community Club of the Year and in 2024 we were awarded EFL League 1 Project of the Year for our Community Cupboard and Lounge.

We support people from many walks of life and enable to them realise their own potential and achieve their own personal goals. In 2023/24 season, we supported 5,000 people with meaningful impact and made a considerable difference to their lives.

Port Vale Foundation are self funded and self-sufficient, we rely on grants and donations to make our work happen. We work with over 100 different partner agencies from the public, private and voluntary sector.  We operate an independent Board of Trustees who are the guardians of the charity and ensure we retain our independence as a charity but we do include three members of the club board as part of the Board of Trustees.
