Vale play their third game in four days tonight
Micky Adams intends to revert back to giving his players forty-five minutes each in tonight’s friendly at Nantwich Town – Vale’s third match in four days.
The Vale boss was a little critical following the match against Stafford Rangers on Wednesday night, but was keen to point out that there is still work to do ahead of the new season.
He said: “There has been good cohesion amongst the teams in both games, it’s just a matter of finalising and fine tuning and sharpening up.
“We are still doing a fair amount of training as well. They have trained in the morning and then gone out and played ninety minutes.
“We’ll tone the training down, we’ll get a little bit more cohesive, we’ll get sharper and we will be ready.”
Tonight’s game against The Dabbers kicks off at 7.30pm at the Weaver Stadium.
