Port Vale striker Achille Campion has signed for National League side Torquay United on loan.
The 25-year-old has followed fellow Valiant Nathan Smith to Plainmoor on a month-long deal after training with the Gulls over the past few days.
Campion first arrived at Vale Park on loan from Swedish side Norrby IF before making the deal permanent last December.
He was prolific for the reserves last season, prompting manager Rob Page to give him a run of games in the first team.
The Frenchman bagged his first goal for the club in a 2-2 draw with Bradford City in Sky Bet League One.
Speaking to port-vale.co.uk regarding Campion’s loan move, the manager said: “This is a great chance for Achille to go out and get some game time under his belt.
“As I’ve said previously, I won’t stand in the way of anyone who wants to play games. We wish him the best of luck at Torquay United.”
