Uche Admits Frustration But Still Positives To Take

Port Vale striker Uche Ikpeazu admitted he was disappointed not to get on the score sheet but says there are plenty of positives to take from Saturday's draw with Gillingham.

The Valiants enjoyed the lions-share of possession and enjoyed a flurry of opportunities late in the first-half but could not seal the victory in their first home league game of the season.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD, Ikpeazu said that Rob Page's players were frustrated not to have finished off the game when they had the chance.

“Sometimes you only get one chance and you take it or you get two or three chances and you take it but other times it happens where you make countless amounts of chances and you just can’t put the ball in the back of the net," he commented

“We are unbeaten. We beat Burnley at home and drawn against two decent teams so we can just take that confidence into the next game.”
