Dodds Praises 'Superb' White Wall

Forward Louis Dodds reserved special praise for Port Vale's fans following the opening day draw with Crewe Alexandra.

Over 2,300 Valiants were in attendance at Gresty Road as the local rivals played out a goalless stalemate.

The club urged the supporters to turn up wearing Vale colours to create a 'White Wall' of atmosphere and they didn't disappoint.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD, 28-year-old Dodds thanked the fans for their efforts and vowed to give them something to cheer about this season.

"They were superb," he said. "The White Wall I think they were called, they were fantastic and long may it continue and we'll give them something to cheer about."
