Vale Winger Wants To Find The Net
Port Vale winger Mark Marshall is determined to add to his goal tally as Rob Page’s side prepare to take on Leyton Orient this weekend.
The 27-year-old has scored twice so far this season, against Chesterfield in August and a memorable winner at home to Barnsley last month.
The Jamaican midfielder has also been involved in the build up of many of his teammates’ goals, using his pace on the counter attack and to get in behind the opposition’s defence.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player ahead of Saturday’s match against Orient, Marshall admitted he wants to start finding the net more often.
“To be honest, I keep shooting but you know what they say keep going, keep going, keep going and it’ll happen so I’m just going to keep trying until I get another one.”
“I’ve been getting a few assists so hopefully I can add a few goals to that. It always looks good when a winger gets goals so hopefully I can get a few more.”
