Boss expecting tough game against Plymouth
Micky Adams knows the importance of tomorrow afternoon’s third round FA Cup tie against Plymouth and says he is hoping for a cracker.
He believes John Sheridan’s side will come out and attack and that should make it a spectacle for the supporters of both sides.
Argyle come to Vale Park in good form and in a confident mood and they will not have any fears about the task ahead of them.
The Vale boss said: “Plymouth will come into the game full of confidence. I am hoping it is going to be a cracking Cup tie with both teams going for it, you never know.
“I wouldn’t see Plymouth coming and sitting behind the ball, I think they will have a go and if they do that I am sure it will be an entertaining game.”
Any chance Vale won’t be taking the opposition seriously was immediately dismissed and Vale will be well prepared for a pulsating game.
Adams continued: “We don’t take them lightly; we always make sure that we are ready for the opposition, whatever it presents and we will be ready for the game, but we know the importance of it, that’s for sure.”
