I have never thought that we are good enough for the play-offs this season, and I dare say hand on heart the vast majority of fans think likewise and would be pleased just to stay up. Because we have done better than expected so far, the expectation (there’s that word again) amongst some fans is that we should make the play-offs.
If we finish in the top half it will be a damn good season. There are bound to be highs and lows along the way, but our highest placing for ten years isn’t something to moan too much about.
