The Vale reserve side came back well from going a goal down to win 3-1 against Walsall reserves at Chasetown
Gavin Tomlin scored on his comeback from injury whilst Jordan Hugill also staked his claims for a recall up front by scoring twice.
Walsall took the lead when Danny Griffiths laid the ball off to Ben George and he drove the ball into the roof of the Vale net.

Rob Taylor went on a good run before hitting a shot that Lewis saved. Hugill almost completed a hat trick seven minutes from time when substitute Cheye Alexander played the ball in to him and he hit a shot that was deflected over for a corner.
