Let's have a look at two more Fantasy teams
This week we pick out another two teams at random and take a look at their team selection and points scored last weekend.
First out of the hat was Kevan Potts’ Vale Zarapottsa, who have scored 55 points, but sadly they currently sit in the lower echelons of the league.
I have known Kev personally for a good number of years and can confirm that he is usually a top Fantasy League player, but for some reason he is struggling a little bit this season.
Does that reflect on the quality of the league? Maybe it does as there have been some terrific scores so far . . . . . anyway, let’s get down to the nitty gritty – let’s take a look at Kev’s team.
In goal he has Joe Hart, who was dropped by Manchester City, so no points there then. Kev has a back line of five - Leighton Baines (6 points)Rafael Da Silva (1), Robert Huth (1), Kolo Touré (1), Steven Caulker (15).
In midfield he has Raniere Sandro (3), Miguel Michu (2), Bo-Kyung Kim (1) and Wilson Palacios (1) and up front Robin van Persie (captain, 24 points)
Just a gut feeling, but knowing Kev as I do, I reckon he has neglected his transfers as I know he is usually on the ball when it comes to Fantasy Football.
Our second selection this week is Return of the Hoofs, managed by Tris Harris, whose team managed a very decent 84 points.
Let’s have a look then – in goal we have Simon Mignolet (2 points) along with a back three of Luke Shaw (2), Leighton Baines (6) and Jan Vertonghen (9).
The midfield consists of Ross Barkley (1), Mesut Özil (6), Andros Townsend (3) and Aaron Ramsey (10) – up front Daniel Sturridge (2) is accompanied by Sergio Agüero (captain, 36) and Yannick Sagbo (7).
Throughout the season we will feature random teams in the matchday programme and occasionally on the club’s website www.port-vale.co.uk, so keep an eye out, you may well get a mention.
