We are delighted to announce that midfielder, Brandon Cover, has joined the club on a season-long loan from Premier League side, Leicester City.
A youth product of the Leicester City Academy, Cover, 20, has been with The Foxes since the age of 7 and would go on to make his senior debut in January 2024 in a 3-0 FA Cup win against Birmingham City.
The 6ft 2in midfielder also progressed through Jamaica’s U23s to go on and make his international debut in June 2023 in a host of friendlies.
Speaking of Cover’s loan deal, Port Vale Manager, Darren Moore, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Brandon to Vale Park. It’s a deal that’s been a few weeks in the making and I am excited to finally get it over the line.
“He is a versatile, combative player who also enjoys getting on the ball and I’m sure he will be a real asset for us as the season progresses.
“Brandon also has a brilliant mindset and wants to use this opportunity to better himself both on and off the pitch and we are all looking forward to working closely with him to help him achieve just that.”
