Port Vale FC are delighted to announce that Academy graduate, Arron Davies, has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The deal will see the young goalkeeper remain at Vale Park until at least the summer of 2025.
Davies, 18, joined The Vale’s Academy at U16s level and has spent the past season well-integrated with the First Team setup having trained and travelled with Darren Moore’s squad on a regular basis.
Speaking of Arron Davies, Port Vale FC’s Manager, Darren Moore, said:
“Arron has been in and around the First Team for a while now, taking part in training and travelling with the squad throughout last season.
“He is a pleasure to be around and is keen to continue his development every single day, taking on the advice from the coaching staff and our more experienced players.
“As we move into next season, having experienced pros around him like Connor Ripley and Ben Amos will do him so much good and he will learn so much from them on a daily basis.
“He has all of the tools and ability at his disposal to really kick on next season and we all really look forward to working with him.”
Port Vale FC’s Academy Director, Will Ryder, added:
“Arron has worked incredibly hard since joining our Academy with our U16s and to see him rewarded with a professional contract is a testament to that.
“He has spent a lot of time in and around the First Team training group over this past season and it’s exciting for him to have the experience of the coaching staff, Connor Ripley and now Ben Amos at his disposal.
“He has all of the tools and attributes available for him to really kick on now and make a name for himself within the First Team environment.”
