Port Vale Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Striker, Uche Ikpeazu.
The 6ft 3in striker has put pen to paper on a deal that will see him remain at Vale Park until at least the summer of 2024.
Ikpeazu, 28, will be no stranger to Port Vale supporters after spending the first half of the 2015/2016 season with the Valiants on loan from Watford where he scored six goals across all competitions throughout his time with the club.
The powerful striker began his career throughout the youth ranks at Reading before turning down the offer of a professional contract to join now Championship side, Watford before going on to make his first professional career appearance for Crewe Alexandra.
Ikpeazu enjoyed his most prolific spell to date at Cambridge United where he scored 19 goals in 69 appearances across all competitions for the U’s prior to making the move north of the border to join Scotland Premiership outfit, Hearts.
Following a two-year stint in Scotland, Uche would make the move to then Championship side, Wycombe Wanderers before signing for Neil Warnock’s Middlesborough for an undisclosed fee prior to spells with Cardiff City and Konyaspor FC.

“Uche is a powerhouse of a player and provides us with another dimension that combines and compliments our other attacking options and we have brought him in at this stage of the season to provide further competition for places.
“At 28, Uche is at his prime physically and mentally. His infectious personality and character mirrors the squad ethos and I am sure that he will be just as much as a positive influence off the pitch as he is on it.
