Produced by Errea in collaboration with Robbie Williams, the all black strip with a buttoned collar and grey club crest and logos is bold, modern and uniquely confident.
As with the home kit, the design process was a team effort – Robbie Williams’ ideas were developed by the Port Vale team of Patrick Shanahan and Club Chair Carol Shanahan, with the Gaffer (John Askey) giving the final seal of approval for the kits to be worn by our players.
As Robbie himself says, our away shirt will have fans match-ready but will also doubtless prove popular as smart, every day leisure wear.
Fans will see again the letters W, N, E woven into the design on the back of the shirts echoing the Gaffer’s ‘Want, Need, Expect’ mantra: If we WANT to win, we NEED to prepare properly and get everything right and then we can EXPECT to win.
