The English Football League have chosen Craig Hicks to referee Port Vale’s final League Two clash of the season with Cambridge United on Saturday.
Hicks will officiate the final Football League match for the 2017/18 season as Neil Aspin’s men will look towards next campaign in positive fashion.
So far this season, Hicks has officiated in 37 games across numerous competitions including:
9 League One games
22 League Two games
3 FA Cup games
4 Checkatrade Trophy games
He has given out 124 yellow cards this season and six reds. He has also officiated twice before for The Valiants as he was involved with the 3-2 loss to Wycombe Wanderers and 1-0 loss to Exeter City.
He will be assisted by Andrew Aylott and Ian Smedley, with Steven Plane acting as the fourth official.
