Welcome To Vale Park - Axel Prohouly

We are delighted to announce the loan signing of midfielder Axel Prohouly on loan until the end of the season from Queens Park Rangers.

Axel is a central midfielder, but has been know to play anywhere across midfield.

He joined QPR at the age of 17 from AS Monaco, the same club where Sebastien Amoros and Anthony de Freitas learnt their trade.

Prohouly was highlighted by QPR Director of Football, Les Ferdinand to go on to be an important player in the future.

The 19 year-old has represented France at Youth Level during his development.

Last season, Axel played 18 times for the Under-21's, scoring five goals and earning a call up to the R's first team at the end of the 2015/16 season.

Prohouly will link up with QPR team mate Olamide Shapido, who also joined Vale on loan yesterday afternoon.

The highly rated midfielder becomes the sixth signing of the January Transfer Window for Michael Brown.

Stay tuned to the club website and social media channels to hear more from the new signing this week.
