Port Vale goalkeeper Chris Neal has joined Doncaster Rovers on a month-long loan.
The 30-year-old will stay at the Keepmoat Stadium until the 1st March in order to get more game time.
Neal has played just once for the Valiants this term due to the impeccable form of summer signing Jak Alnwick.
Former Shrewsbury Town and Preston North End shot stopper Neal has made over 120 appearances for Vale since joining the Club in 2012.
Speaking to port-vale.co.uk regarding Neal’s deal, manager Rob Page said: “Chris Neal is a fantastic pro, a great lad.
“We’re fortunate to have two number ones at the football club, we’ve got two fantastic goalkeepers, Jak and Chris.
“Jak has been outstanding since he has come in so rightly so keeps the jersey. Chris is frustrated not getting minutes on the pitch.
“Thankfully Doncaster Rovers have come in and shown interest and it’s a great move for him.”
