Port Vale manager Rob Page was frustrated with his side’s lack of consistency following their away loss to Colchester United.
George Elokobi opened the scoring at Weston Homes Community Stadium, Colin Daniel equalised but Marvin Sordell bagged the winner.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD after the match, the Vale boss was particularly disappointed with the first half performance.
“It wasn’t good enough in the first half,” he said. “I’ve had to volley a few of them at half time but I shouldn’t have to do that at this level.
“We speak about consistency and we need that level of consistency game by game and at the moment you don’t know what you’re going to get and you can’t go into games like that.”
