Page: ‘We Should Have Had It Sewn Up’

Port Vale manager Rob Page was disappointed at his side's inability to see the game out against Maidenhead United.

James Mulley scored in the dying seconds to earn Vale’s non-league opponents a replay after Byron Moore had given the home side the lead.

Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD following the game, Page expressed his frustration at his side’s performance.

“Too many were off their game tonight again,” he said. “We should have had the job sewn up and seen the game out but we make it hard for ourselves.

“In the 94th minute we switch off and concede a goal and it’s not acceptable.”
