Ryan Lloyd Signs On The Dotted Line

Port Vale have signed midfielder Ryan Lloyd to a new one-year contract.

The 21-year-old put pen to paper on his new deal at Vale Park on Thursday morning, becoming the fourth player this week to sign on the dotted line.

Lloyd has featured in 13 games for the Valiants since his promotion from the Academy.

He made his debut as a substitute in the club’s 7-2 thrashing of Morecambe at Vale Park in 2011 in League Two.

The winger played a key part in Vale’s Final Third Development League West Division title win last season under Mick Ede.

Manager Rob Page said: “Ryan is a great lad and a talented player so we’re really pleased to have him sign another deal with the club.

“He did very well last season in winning the reserve league and we’re looking forward to having him in and amongst the first team next season.”

Lloyd added: “I’m delighted to have signed a new contract with the club and I can’t wait to start pre-season training now.

“I’m really looking forward to getting my head down and working hard to try and do the best I can for the club.”
