LOOKING BACK AT THE 2014-2015 SEASON

Port Vale 0 MK Dons 0
League One
Vale Park
Saturday 11th April 2015
Attendance: 4,379 including 383 visiting supporters

Vale halted a run of six defeats with a spirited performance against an MK Dons still chasing an automatic place in an entertaining nil-nil draw at Vale Park.

There will have been a few fingernails chew before kick off as Vale faced one of the top sides whilst attempting against the odds to halt a poor run of results with the ‘R’ word on many supporters’ tongues.

They will have been proud of the performance, however, when the final whistle was blown after a game in which Vale took a point after very single player gave their all for the club.

Had luck been on their side, they could have finished with maximum points, restricting the visitors to very few efforts on target, whilst going close to breaking the deadlock on several occasions.
