Tom Pope To Start In Reserve Game Against Tranmere Rovers

Striker To Play Up Front With Achille Campion

Tom Pope is in the starting line-up for Port Vale’s reserve fixture against Tranmere Rovers today at Rivacre Park, Ellesmere Port, kick-off 1pm.

 

Having made his return to first team action at the weekend, coming off the bench against local rivals Crewe Alexandra, the striker will play up-front with Achille Campion for the second string.

 

The game against Rovers will also mark a return to action for defender Ryan McGivern, who has been out with an arm injury. The Northern Irishman has now been given the all clear for full contact.
