Port Vale boss Rob Page thinks his side were full value for their 2-1 win over Gillingham on Saturday.

Ben Williamson had opened the scoring for the Valiants before Cody McDonald capitalised on a defensive mistake to equalise for the visitors.
Vale dominated the second-half with chances falling to Mark Marshall, Dany N’Guessan and Carl Dickinson but it wasn’t until Daniel’s last-gasp strike that the three points were sealed.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player following the victory, Page insisted his side’s performance warranted the victory.
“I thought the first 20 or 25 minutes we started really, really brightly; we controlled the game and then we had a crazy ten minutes when we gifted them a goal and let them dictate the pace to us a little bit,” he said.
“Thankfully we got in at half-time, addressed the problems and we went out and, like I said, I think we were thoroughly deserved of the three points at the end.”
