Defender Wants To Keep MK Dons Out
Richard Duffy says Port Vale are hoping to be harder to break down in this weekend’s game at MK Dons than they were against the same side a fortnight ago.
The teams met in the FA Cup earlier this month with Karl Robinson’s outfit emerging as winners from a high-scoring affair.
Vale kept a clean sheet in their last league outing - beating Rochdale 1-0 at home thanks to Michael Brown’s second-half goal.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player, Duffy admitted both sides will know what to expect in Saturday's League One encounter but is confident Vale have what it takes to get a result.
“We’ve both seen each other play recently so they’ll know what to expect as well,” he said.
“We’ll go there and try and tighten up more than when we played them at home and see how it goes.”
