Nathan Smith Extends Stafford Rangers Stay

Defender To Remain On Loan Until 24 January

Port Vale defender Nathan Smith has extended his loan deal at Stafford Rangers until 24 January.

The youngster originally joined the non-league side in October on a month-long agreement but the deal has now been extended beyond the New Year.

The centre back, who came through Vale’s youth system, has made six appearances for Rangers so far.

Speaking of Smith’s extended loan deal, Valiants boss Rob Page said: “With regards to Nathan’s development, all the feedback we’ve had from there is that he has been a model professional.

“He has given a great account of himself in the games so for us it’s fantastic to have him out playing competitive games every Saturday and he is more than holding his own at that level.”
