Striker Speaks To Valiant Player About New Deal
- Striker seals contract at Vale Park until end of next season
- He is hoping to now push for regular place in first team
- Campion happy to be staying at the club
Port Vale striker Achille Campion is keen to get to work after signing for the club on a permanent basis this week.
The 24-year-old, who had been on loan at Vale Park from Swedish side Norrby IF, has impressed with his performances for the club’s reserves.
He was given a chance in the first team squad away at Gillingham last month, helping Rob Page’s side to a last-gasp draw, and followed that up with an appearance from the bench at Swindon Town on Saturday.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player fresh from signing his contract, Campion admitted he is enjoying his time with Vale and is now determined to push on.
“I am really happy; this is a good club and I have enjoyed myself here and I am ready to work,” he said.
