Port Vale Volunteers’ Group

We have been working with Port Vale since 2004, having two main aims – to assist with practical tasks and to raise funds.

 

Practical Tasks

We have helped in most areas of the stadium, including:-

Painting areas as requested including the new wall in the Club Shop

Refurbishing the Youth Department,

Ensuring all seats are numbered each season

Each year Season Ticket stickers put in place around stadium

Helping large scale mailings, eg season tickets, A G Ms.

Ticket Office Assisting with allocation of season tickets from

Writing for and proof reading of the Match Day Programme.

Helping with organising programme sales

Reporting on Youth Team and Reserve Team matches

Sewing repairs as requested for kit or shop merchandise

 

We have also organised

Official Away Travel

               Player of Year Nights

Open Days

Craft Fairs

Easter and Christmas Fairs

Seat sponsorship

Quiz nights

Grand draws

Various raffles

We have earned over £34,000 over the years.

As set out by our Guiding Principles this money has been donated to the Club for specific projects or items.

Flat screen TV/computer projector for academy.

Printer for Club Shop

A number of computers

Provided baby changing facilities,

A notice boards installed around the ground,

The sponsorship of a loan player.

Equipment for the Physio Department, including

a physio table,

a “cryo cuffs” machine which uses cold for the treatment of injuries,

information charts

training equipment

inflatable ice pools

heart rate monitor

Fully equipped the Performance Analysis Department

Camera equipment

Purchasing large and individual trophies

Refurbishing the running track
