VOLUNTEERS' CHRISTMAS DRAW

VOLUNTEERS' CHRISTMAS DRAW

Fund raising helps the Physio Department

The Volunteers’ Group are holding a Grand Christmas Draw to raise funds for Youth Department and the Physio Department. As the playing squad is so small it was deemed essential that the physio equipment was purchased as soon as possible.

Andy Foster, Heads Physio, requested attachments to the “Cryo Cuff” machine the group purchased 2 years ago. These consisted of a dual connector hose, so that 2 players can receive treatment at the same time, and a hip and groin wrap, the cold compress of this sheath helps to minimise soft tissue damage and promote healing.

Because the equipment required cost almost £800, agreement was obtained from the Committee to exceed the normal £500 limit, and to use the reserved funds.

October and was immediately put to use by Clayton McDonald, Ryan Burge, Rob Taylor and after the Northampton match, Gareth Owen and Joe Davis.thIt was delivered on Friday 26
