Black and gold for Vale away
Port Vale will play their opening away fixture at Colchester United in their new away shirt.
We have been releasing images of the new away shirt all morning in anticipation of today’s away match at Colchester United.
The black and gold kit features a tribute to former Vale legend Roy Sproson on the back of the shirt.
Former Valiants defender Sproson made 837 appearances for Port Vale in career spanning over 20 years.
The new away shirt which features club sponsor GMB’s orange logo will officially go on sale in the new Club Shop in a couple weeks.
The Club Shop will be displaying the new away kit from today, so if you're not at the match you can head to the new Club Shop for a preview before it goes on sale in the new few weeks.
