Port Vale Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper, Sam Hornby, has extended his stay at Chester until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old played a handful of games for the Valiants at the beginning of the current campaign, but after suffering an injury, he joined the National League side on an initial one-month loan deal in December.
That was then extended by a further month and Hornby has held down his position between the posts at the Deva Stadium, and Marcus Bignot will now have the young stopper at his disposal until the season concludes.
Everybody at Port Vale wishes Sam all the best in the coming months.
