Port Vale boss Rob Page has been nominated for Sky Bet League One’s manager of the month award for November.

The 41-year-old guided the Club to three wins from four league games, including home victories over Chesterfield and Blackpool.

A triumph over Barnsley at Oakwell started the month off in style while the only blemish came at Spotland Stadium, where the Valiants were beaten 2-1.

Other candidates up for the prize include Swindon Town’s Martin Ling, Coventry City’s Tony Mowbray and Peteborough United’s Graham Westley.

The winner will be announced on Friday with a judging panel comprising of George Burley, Don Goodman, Andy Williamson, Olaf Dixon and Paul Lowery tasked with making the decision.
