Three points separate the top two

The Fantasy Football season is finally over and Fat Boys Del Callao have managed to grab first place right at the death with a weekly score of 71 points.

Richard Whetton’s side have won the Port Vale Fantasy Football Challenge by just THREE points, pipping Jim Proctor’s 8 Cokie Stunts on the final day of the season.

Had Luis Suárez found the net against Newcastle United – or even managed an assist – then the title would belong to Jim, instead, well, our congratulations go to Richard.
He finally finished in first place with a total of 2,420 points, ahead of all the other 429 teams – as they say, the table doesn’t lie.
Also managing to get over 70 points this week were Val-lee-ants (Lee Machin, 76) Colin Tartt’s Sock (Mark Hickton, 74) Grocott’s Kickers (Adam Grocott, 73) Railway Portaloos (Mark Cooper, 72) The Shield (Ben James, 72) and Billy’s Biscuit Tin (David Banks, 71)
.rd place, whilst Louis Dodds was the best of the bunch from the Vale players – he finished 33thFrom a club point of view, Lee Foyle came out on top, finishing in 25
Unfortunately we were unable to sort out any prizes this season, but we hope to do so next year. Hopefully everybody who took part this season will do the same next time. Thanks to you all.
