Vale finish their South West Tour at Southern Football League South & West Division side Tiverton Town tomorrow (Saturday). After winning their matches against Bodmin Town and Plymouth Parkway earlier on this week Micky Adams’ men will be looking to make it three out of three at Ladysmead.
Tiverton, like the Valiants, are currently unbeaten so far during their pre-season campaign, but may see their luck run out against an in form Vale side 5 levels above them in the leagues. Their unbeaten run is even more impressive taking into account that the Yellow’s manager Martyn Rogers is reportedly in the middle of moulding his squad for the upcoming campaign.
133 goals in 263 appearances during his two previous spells at the club and the Yellows will be hoping that he can recapture that form this time around. The veteran striker scored an incredible will be hoping to impress against the Vale.Recent signing Jamie Mudge, who is coming into his third spell with the club after being at Ladysmead in 2001 and 2009
Going into the match Richard Duffy and Tom Pope who were left out against Bodmin Town, are expected to return to the fold in good time for the start of the season.
DIRECTIONS:
Exit the M5 at Junction 27. Head towards Tiverton on the A361 dual carriageway travelling for about seven miles. You will notice the Exe Valley Leisure Centre on your left. Go straight across (first exit) the mini roundabout. You will see Ladysmead to your right.
