Brendan Malone will take charge of Port Vale’s trip to Swindon Town on Tuesday evening.

Malone has refereed two games so far this season, his latest being Bristol Rovers’ 1-0 win at Yeovil Town during which he brandished one red card.

The last Port Vale fixture Malone took charge of was in February when the Valiants lost 3-1 at Bristol City.

At the County Ground, he will be assisted by Mark Pottage and Craig Hicks while John O’Brien will be the fourth official.
