The Valiants will host Salford City at Vale Park on Saturday for our second home fixture in as many weeks in our Sky Bet League Two campaign, where we will hope to bounce back from last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Carlisle United. James Adcock will take charge of the game, his sixth match so far this season, after having taken charge of 15 games last season.

Adcock last officiated a Vale fixture in December 2015, in the Valiants’ 1-0 win over Bury in Sky Bet League One at Vale Park. In the five games he has officiated so far this season, he has issued seven yellow cards and one red.
His assistants will be Marvyn Amphlett and Danny Gratton, with Anthony Moore taking on the role as fourth official.
