John Askey's Port Vale make the trip to Exeter City this weekend as they look to secure mathematical safety in Sky Bet League Two, and the officials have now been confirmed by the EFL.
Tom Nield has been selected as the man in the middle for the clash at St. James' Park, and it will be his 19th fixture of the season. For a breakdown of the competitions he has refereed in, see below:
7 Sky Bet League One games
7 Sky Bet League Two games
1 Emirates FA Cup game
1 Carabao Cup game
2 Checkatrade Trophy games
Over the course of those 18 matches, Nield has brandished 54 yellow cards and three reds, but his last outing was back in November 2018 as Crewe Alexandra beat Cambridge United in the fourth tier.
He is yet to take charge of a Port Vale game so far this season, but he did referee the 0-0 draw at home to Newport County during the 2017/18 campaign.
His assistants for Saturday's game will be Justin Amey and Christopher Wade, whilst James Durkin will be the man occupying the role of fourth official.
