Rob Lewis will referee Port Vale’s clash with Coventry City on Boxing Day.

The Valiants make the festive visit to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, kick off 3pm, in Sky Bet League One.

Mr Lewis has officiated 13 games so far this season, brandishing 45 cautions and three red cards.

He was last in charge of a game involving Vale in August when Rob Page’s side thrashed Doncaster Rovers 3-0 at home.

Barry Cropp and Stuart England will assist Lewis as linesmen while Ian Smedley will be the fourth official.
