Louis Dodds On Hard Work Being Put In To Turn Form Around

The Valiants have lost their last six games, the latest being at Spotland Stadium on Easter Monday as Rochdale grabbed a last-gasp winner.

The visit of automatic promotion chasers MK Dons to Vale Park this weekend could prove vital at both ends of the Sky Bet League One table.

Karl Robinson’s side need three points to keep the pressure on second-placed Preston North End, while Vale are looking to pull away from the relegation pack.

Speaking to Valiant Player in the lead-up to Saturday’s clash, Dodds insisted everyone is doing all they can to ensure a quick turnaround in form.

“It’s massive,” he said. “You can see it every day, everyone is working that little bit harder and the fine details are going in there even more now.

“As players I think you can see, collectively and on your own, you’re doing a lot more to try and turn this run around.”
