No fresh faces coming in, but there could be some movement
Vale boss Micky Adams has said although no players will be coming in on loan before the transfer deadline today but there will be movement the other way.
He said: “Players on the edge of the squad might be going out but that has not been confirmed yet.
“There are a lot of decent young players out there that we could bring into the squad, but a lot of the football clubs that you are dealing with insist that they have got to be played.
“I can’t guarantee that to anybody that they are going to be automatic choices, Is there a real need for us to strengthen the squad? That could be argued in certain areas but I think we will look at that in January rather than now.
“We have got Daniel Jones back on the training ground so he is there or thereabouts and the only other one who is injured in the squad at the moment is Doug Loft, so there is no real great necessity to go out and take a player.”
