Port Vale midfielder Ryan Lloyd has joined National League side Chester FC on loan.
The 21-year-old, who has featured five times for the Valiants so far this season, will remain at Lookers Vauxhall Stadium until 27th December.
A product of the club’s Academy system, Lloyd is a versatile prospect who can play both centrally and out wide.
He was a key part of the reserve side that won the Final Third Development League title last season under Mick Ede.
Speaking of Lloyd’s loan move, manager Rob Page said: “This is a great opportunity for Ryan to go out and play regular men’s football at a very good level.
“We’ve seen what a positive impact playing in the National League has had on Nathan Smith at Torquay and we’re hoping to see similar results with Ryan.
“We’d like to wish him the best of luck during his time at Chester.”
