Football League Announces New ‘Nick Kicks’ Children’s Show With Nickelodeon

The Football League and Nickelodeon UK & Ireland have announced the launch of Nick Kicks, a new weekly Football League children’s programme on the Nicktoons channel from 6 February 2016.

With 100 episodes set to air on Saturday mornings through to the end of the 2017/18 season,Nick Kickswill combine Football League match highlights with a variety of fun features to keep young viewers entertained. 


Produced in association with The Football League Trust, each week Nick Kicks will take viewers behind the scenes of The Football League with visits to clubs, interviews with players and even a regular feature that will see popular character SpongeBob SquarePants take on club mascots in weekly challenges. 


Commenting, Shaun Harvey, Chief Executive of The Football League said: 


“Offering a fun insight in to life at clubs up and down the country, Nick Kicks will help us to engage and inspire a new generation of Football League fans. We look forward to working with Nickelodeon on Nick Kicks in what is another exciting first for The Football League.”

Showcasing the excitement of The Football League for young people across the country, Nick Kicks will be presented by YouTube personality Roman Kemp, and sports presenter Rachel Stringer.
