Are you aged 15-16 and dreaming about a career in sport? You could make your dreams a reality by applying for our Football & Education Programmes.

Spaces are still available to start this September for 16-year olds who have just finished Year 11.

The Port Vale Football & Education Programme offers three routes for young people wanting to begin a career in sport:

• Mens 11v11 Squad
• Ladies 11v11 Squad
• Futsal Squad

Those registered to the Programme will study a BTEC Level 3 course in Sport, alongside additional football related qualifications, while training up to four times a week with UEFA qualified coaches and representing Port Vale every week against other professional clubs.

Every student will receive a full training kit and match day tracksuit, plus tickets to every Port Vale home league game.

Completing the course opens up a range of options for a career in football, including work experience/placement opportunities at Port Vale, access to university courses and the chance of earning a semi-professional or professional contract or scholarship.
