Super Vale Abroad Initiative off to a great start

We recently announced the Super Vale Abroad Initiative (SVA) that has been set up by a group of exile Vale supporters from around the globe in order to sponsor families to attend Vale home games. The first family to benefit from this initiative came to the Crawley game on August 18th and had a great time.

The Vale Foundation took responsibility for the arrangements on the day and each of the children involved were enrolled as Junior Valiants courtesy of Synectics Solutions.  They were then presented with their membership packs pitchside before taking their seats with the rest of the family to watch Vale record their second successive home League victory of the season.

Tom Sherratt, the Foundation Manager, said “The purpose of the SVA initiative is to provide tickets for families who have never been to Vale Park before or have never watched live League football.

"The reaction from the first family to be invited was truly inspiring, they all said that they had a fantastic time and I am certain that they will all be lifelong Vale supporters”.

The Initiative is the idea of Potteries born Patrick Scragg who now lives in Australia.  “In just a few months we have manged to turn a concept into a reality and it is great to hear that the first family really enjoyed their day at the Vale.

“Everyone in the group is delighted that SVA has made such a positive start and we hope that the other families that we are able to invite during the season will also enjoy their Vale Park experience”.

Any exile Vale supporter who wishes to join the SVA group and make a contribution towards the initiative is invited to contact Patrick direct via email at supervaleabroad@hotmail.com or through the group website https://www.supervaleabroad.com
