Speaking to the local press, the shot-stopper said that he feels Vale’s defensive performances this season have warranted more clean sheets.
“I think if you look at the defensive performance, you’ve got to look at the back five really,” he said.
“I don’t think there have been too many mistakes really, just lapses in concentration a little bit more than anything, we’ve probably conceded a few too many from set pieces than we would have wanted.”
“But we’ve been working, it’s not as if we don’t work on things like that, we’ve had some unlucky goals, some deflections, things like that gone in.
“So I think we do deserve more clean sheets than we’ve got but hopefully moving forward we can pick up some more.”
