ODDS FROM AROUND THE LEAGUE
Bradford City vs. Doncaster Rovers
Bradford City are Sky Bet's 13/10 favourites ahead of their Yorkshire derby showdown with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday. Both sides are short of form at present with the Bantams without a win in their last four, while Rovers are looking for their first win in three Sky Bet League 1 matches. Bradford boss Phil Parkinson will be keen to improve his side's poor home form having collected only seven points from a possible 21 at the Coral Windows Stadium this season. It's the first League meeting between the sides since 2006 - on that occasion Doncaster won the fixture 1-0, which is an 8/1 shot this time. Bradford's James Hanson and Doncaster's Curtis Main can both be backed to score at 13/2. This is a tough one to call and a draw doesn’t look a bad shout.

Bristol City vs. Oldham Athletic
There's little doubt the match of the day in Sky Bet League 1 on Saturday is at Ashton Gate where title favourites Bristol City are odds-on to end Oldham's 11-match unbeaten sequence. The Robins are unbeaten at home this season but have seen their lead at the top of the table cut after successive draws against Yorkshire duo Barnsley and Bradford. Oldham, meanwhile, have picked up 10 points from the last 12 on offer and have surged up to seventh spot in the table. The Latics suffered their last defeat back in August and there will be plenty of punters taking the 5/6 available on Oldham or the draw in the double-result market. To add weight to that argument three of the last four meetings between the sides have finished as draws. With both teams in great form expect goals in this one, with both teams to score and over 2.5 goals rightly odds-on shots at 8/11 and 5/6 respectively.

Chesterfield vs. Yeovil Town
Chesterfield are odds-on shots to end a run of three straight Sky Bet League 1 defeats when they host struggling Yeovil. Swindon scored an emphatic 3-0 victory at the Protact Stadium on Tuesday night to inflict a fourth defeat in five outings for the Spireites. But there has been little joy for the Glovers recently as they have failed to win in their last six League matches and not scored in their last two. The last two meetings between the sides have ended in draws and it's a 13/5 shot this time around. Unsurprisingly the division's top scorer Eoin Doyle is an odds-on shot to net in 90 minutes and 7/2 to score a brace. Yeovil, who have struggled for goals all season, are 3/1 to secure all three points.
Top Tip: Chesterfield to win and Under 2.5 goals in the match at 3/1.
Crawley Town vs. Crewe Alexandra
Crawley face a tricky test when they welcome improving Crewe to the Checktrade.com Stadium on Saturday. Despite their lowly position in the Sky Bet League 1 table, the Railwaymen have turned the corner in the last month winning three of their last four matches and won this fixtures 2-1 in April - a 12/1 shot this time. However, their away form has been disappointing with only four points from a possible 21 making Crawley firm 19/20 favourites with the League sponsor to secure maximum points here. The Reds have stuttered of late with only one win in four and despite winning four of their matches at the Broadfield Stadium have only scored seven goals in as many games so going low on goals may be worth a small wager. Crawley's Izale McLeod is even-money to score in the match with Crewe's Marcus Haber an 11/2 shot to net in a win for the visitors.
Top Tip: A draw and under 2.5 goals in the match at 3/1.
Fleetwood Town vs. Gillingham
Fleetwood are strong favourites at 3/4 to win their first game in three when they face struggling Gillingham. The newly-promoted side thought they were on for a shock win when they went 2-0 up against Preston early on last week but were unable to hold on and fell to their second defeat in a row. It’s 40/1 for Fleetwood to again let a half-time lead slip this week – however Gillingham have yet to come from behind and win at all this season. In fact, Peter Taylor’s men haven’t won by more than one goal since August – it’s 14/1 for them to win by two here – and had to rely on defender Leon Legge’s goal to earn them a point at home to Crawley last time out. He is 13/2 to score again this week but the favourite for the visitors is top scorer Cody McDonald who will be hoping to notch his sixth this season at 5/2.
Top Tip: Fleetwood to win and both teams to score at 5/2.
Leyton Orient vs. Coventry City
With only one point separating these two in the Sky Bet League 1 table, both Leyton Orient and Coventry will believe they have realistic chances of taking three points here. Home advantage makes Orient the even-money favourite but both sides are looking for just their second win in eight games. The visitors will be buoyed by their victory over Peterborough last time out and their 13/5 price tag may prove appealing to some punters. What might prove even more attractive, however, is both teams to score at 4/6 as these two strugglers have both conceded more than they have scored so far this season. What’s more, both teams have scored in each of the Sky Blues’ last six fixtures in all competitions, despite them winning just two. The away side are 11/2 to win after both teams have scored, whereas favourites Leyton Orient are priced at 11/4 in the same market.

MK Dons vs. Swindon Town
MK Dons are favourites to make it a third win in four meetings with Swindon this weekend, despite sitting five places lower in the league table. In fact, the Dons have won five of their last eight games against Swindon and lost only once so their even-money price tag appears justified. Swindon were comfortable winners in their last fixture, winning 3-0 away at Chesterfield, however that was their first win in four. It’s 40/1 for the Robins to repeat that score line, however, the handicap market of Swindon -1 at 13/2 may prove popular with their fans as Mark Cooper’s men have beaten that on five occasions already this season. The visitors also have a better record on the road than they do at the County Ground this term and have the third best goal difference in the division, making their 13/5 odds not without appeal.

Notts County vs. Walsall
Notts County are the favourites to make it six wins in a row when they face Walsall at Meadow Lane. The Magpies are undefeated in nine Sky Bet League 1 games and are 2/5 to win or draw this week. Despite their recent form, Shaun Derry’s men still find themselves odds-against at 7/5 to win the game, largely due to the nature of their last win. A last-minute penalty gave them a dramatic one-nil victory over bottom-club Scunthorpe – it is 7/1 for the same scoreline here. Walsall, on the other hand, moved out of the relegation zone with a win over Chesterfield and ended a run of three consecutive defeats. They are 15/8 to beat Notts County this weekend and it’s 8/1 for them to match the 1-0 score that they defeated Chesterfield with.
Top Tip: Notts County to win -1 goal at 4/1.
Peterborough United vs. Scunthorpe United
Peterborough are strong favourites with the League sponsors to add further pressure on bottom-club Scunthorpe when they meet at London Road. Scunthorpe have managed just three wins in 2014/15 and are 9/2 outsiders to shock The Posh this weekend. The two clubs haven’t met since 2010, when the Glanford Park outfit ran out 4-0 winners. It’s a 200/1 for a repeat scoreline this week but it’s a lot shorter for Scunthorpe not to lose at 6/5. That may be due to the hosts having suffered defeats in their last two games against Coventry and Crewe - both on the road. However, they have lost just one match at home all season so the short prices about them here do seem justified.
Top Tip: Peterborough to win to nil at 7/4.
Rochdale vs. Preston North End
Odds are even in this Lancashire derby as both sides make their climb up the Sky Bet League 1 table. Preston are the form team ahead of this weekend’s fixtures with seven wins on the bounce and they are rightly the slight favourites here at 7/5. Similarly, Rochdale have tasted just one defeat in their last seven, making them narrow outsiders at 15/8 and the draw is also fairly short at 21/10. The Lilywhites can boast the joint-best goal difference in the division and their top scorer, Joe Garner, is the favourite to open the scoring here. Rochdale, however, have two players with seven goals already this term – Done and Henderson – and they are 3/1 each to score in a Dale win. Both players netted in the club’s biggest win for 2014/15 when they beat Walsall 4-0 a few weeks ago – a repeat of that scoreline is 80/1 this week.

Sheffield United vs. Barnsley
A third win on the bounce has forced Football League sponsor Sky Bet to shorten Sheffield United’s price for promotion from League 1. Stefan Scougall scored the only goal of the game as the Blades beat 10-man Crewe at Gresty Road last weekend, moving Nigel Clough’s men up to fifth in the table. Consequently, Sky Bet trimmed Sheffield United’s odds on going up from 9/4 to 7/4 third-favourites behind leaders Bristol City (1/2) and in-form Preston (11/10). And they’re odds-on (4/5) to win this weekend’s Yorkshire derby, with visitors Barnsley 100/30 underdogs. The Tykes would surely settle for a draw, and that’s 13/5.
