When young Kian woke up this morning, he didn't quite expect the day to turn out the way it did.
On Wednesday, Ben Whitfield wanted to thank the fans by giving a way a pair of signed boots, the very pair he wore to score that stunning goal against Wycombe.
There were over 1000 entries through our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts and it was Kian's dad, Neil, who was the lucky winner.
So when Kian and his father arrived at Vale Park this morning to meet Ben and collect the boots, they didn't expect they were then going onto meet the rest of the squad, watch their training session and meet the gaffer himself, Neil Aspin.
We even had a brief Social Media takeover from Kian himself, who had a go at taking some pictures of the Valiants warming up and prepping for their final training session ahead of Stevenage tomorrow.
Kian's father, Neil, was over the moon to see his son so happy, after having a rough time at school as of late.
"We can't thank you, the manager and players enough especially Ben himself for taking the time out to meet us and sign Kian's shirt.
"You could probably tell that he was a bit overwhelmed by it all as we were only expecting to come and meet Ben, grab the boots and then go again. I can honestly say it's put a massive smile on his face after what he has been through with being bullied.
"Please pass on our thanks to Neil and the lads and all the best to you too and the club for the rest of the season."
