Port Vale Foundation is an independent and registered charity. Port Vale Foundation use the power of Port Vale Football Club to create opportunities to engage, motivate and inspire people from all sections of our community, helping them to fulfill their potential.
To support our exciting programme of summer activities we are recruiting highly motivated, energetic and passionate individuals to join our delivery team. We will be running an extensive programme of sports, activities and experiences for young people in Stoke-on-Trent across various locations.

Job Purpose |
Port Vale Foundation are looking to recruit new coaches during the summer holidays to help with the increased demand for our Summer Holiday Camps We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated to help support the delivery of our exciting summer of sports, experiences and activities The role will involve leading sessions, supporting young people throughout their day and work with partner agencies to deliver the highest quality experience for young people Hours will vary each day in line with child numbers and the needs of our members |
Key Duties / Responsibilities |
To lead and supervise all participants in the coaching and delivery of summer sessions ensuring compliance with standards of coaching, teaching and safeguarding in line with Port Vale Foundation values To plan, organise and deliver high-energy, fun and inclusive sessions and activities in a safe and structured environment Lead by example by creating exceptional session delivery plans and always delivering to the highest standards To complete and follow risk assessments and ensure that reasonable steps have been taken to protect participants at all times A willingness to liaise with parents, delivering high quality customer service To ensure the correct procedures are adopted in the event of an emergency To be confident and qualified to give first aid treatment where necessary (training provided) To keep registers of all participants stored safely and support the department lead with recording, monitoring and evaluation. |

General |
