37.5 hours per week (flexibility and occasional unsocial hours are a requisite of the role)

Responsible for:

Venue Sales – Strategy of bookings, events, fan zone and kiosk

Job Purpose:

To strategize and organise venue bookings and events with the Venue Sales Manager, maximising revenue and profitability, and exploring revenue avenues across the venue.

Relationship & Reporting Lines:

Head of Commercial -> Venue Sales Manager -> Venue Sales Executive

 PRINCIPLE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.              

Assist the Venue Sales Manager in ensuring that all relevant commercial information is delivered across the club, to the neighbouring departments, for all bookings and events.

 

2.              

Welcoming potential clients on a 1-2-1 basis through email, telephone and in person meetings, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service with the aim to convert the booking into venue sales revenue.

3.              

Taking a customer through the full journey from initial enquiry to room viewing, and then completing this with the existing booking process - all with a professional manner.

4.              

Regularly evaluate the efficiency of booking procedures and delivery of information to others, and apply any improvements when necessary.

5.              

Ensure the venue sales team delivers and maintains an exceptional level service to its customers both internal and external.

6.              

Maximise the availability and profitability of the venue for all events and functions.

7.              

Build and maintain relationships with both new clients and regular bookers.

8.              

Assist in the strategy and organisation of both match day kiosks and fan zones.
