Port Vale season ticket holders who currently sit in the Bycars Stand are invited to an Open Event at Vale Park on Sunday (5 March) to hear more about the proposals for a stand swap in the 2023/24 season and beyond.
As announced last year, the club has proposed that the Hamil Road Stand becomes an area for home supporters for an improved matchday experience and more direct access to facilities such as Tommy Cheadle’s, the Port Vale Foundation and the Staffordshire University Fan Zone. Away supporters would then be situated in the Bycars Stand, which would also support a safer matchday operation and mitigate disorder on Hamil Road.
Sunday’s Open Event will provide the opportunity for supporters currently in the Bycars Stand to hear more about the proposed stand swap with club officials, while also viewing other areas and facilities within the Stadium - including the Hamil Road End. Supporters can also email questions or feedback to media@port-vale.co.uk in advance of Sunday’s event.
Initially, Sunday’s event will be exclusive to Bycars Stand Season Ticket Holders, who can claim a free ticket by [clicking here] from 10am on Wednesday 1 March to confirm attendance. Hot and cold drinks will be complimentary at the event on Sunday, while confectionary will also be available from the kiosks.
If you wish to attend Sunday's event, please register for your ticket before 7pm on Saturday 4 March. Children are welcome to attend.
Parking will be available for this event on Car Parks B & D, while the Synectics Car Park will also be open. Car Park C will be closed
Should there be a demand, the club will look to host a further event for supporters in other stands who may wish to move to the Hamil Road Stand.
